Welcome and thanks for taking the time to visit my site.

My intentions are simple, to enable others to get the most from life.

The ethos and values by which I achieve sustainable results are straightforward, a non-judgemental manner and clear communication. You won’t find endless images of me or others looking ripped in the latest active wear, stats of my latest run or PB, or read preachy misnomers about training and nutrition. Everything I teach and write stems from science-based research and data, not the latest fads or trends on social media. I take huge pride in my work, ensuring everyone feels respected and accountable for their goals.

Change nothing, nothing changes.

This can be applied to many areas of life but none more significantly than to our health and wellbeing. The past 18 months shone a spotlight on health and the importance of being physically fit never more relevant. If like many others, you’ve been considering future proofing your fitness, I’m confident my balanced, infectious and enjoyable approach to training will transform your perspective and establish a sense of wellbeing, irrespective of your current condition or aspirations.

“Deskbound with two children I finally admitted to myself it was time to take control of my health”

“Having always found personal trainers massively intimidating, I needed a trainer who would help me feel confident and empowered, who would be able to create a programme for me that understood and accommodated my lifestyle. Tina has been able to do just that, taking time to understand me, my goals, worries and of course, all elements of my physical health. I have already seen better results than I was expecting, but above all, I’m feeling happier and in control of my health and fitness for the first time.  I can honestly say that choosing to work with Tina has been one of the best decisions of my life” - Sue

What sets me apart.

Integrity - I consider and deliver every session as if it were my own

Knowledge - insight is key to continual growth. I read and research many aspects of exercise and physiology to remain informed and educated, essential to consistently deliver results

Consideration - recognising everyone is unique, all with our own strengths and limitations, the only measure of success is you

Experience - a lifetime of cross training before cross fit was even a term

A passion for fitness and many years of training led to qualifying as a Level 3 Personal trainer in 2009, subsequently adding Pre/Post Natal, GP Referral and a level 4 low back pain diploma to my repertoire. These specialised qualifications enable me to assess, prescribe and deliver exercise programs for clients with a wide range of conditions, ensuring safe and sustainable results are achieved.

I understand how challenging it can be to break old habits or find the confidence to embark on new ones, which is why it’s important to recognise you are not alone if feeling overwhelmed by where to start. For an informal chat, please get in touch to discover how I can help you achieve your goals.

The science.

If exercise were medication, we would all be queuing up to take it!

As we move through life, intrinsic changes take place, so it is essential we adapt and evolve to manage external stressors.

Regular exercise increases cardiovascular fitness, improves muscle density and strength, but what about the other stuff, the by-products we may not fully appreciate? Exercise causes your body to produce neurochemicals called endorphins, which promote a sense of wellbeing and have a multitude of benefits including:

Reduce stress - Working up a sweat can help you manage physical and mental stress

Improve self-esteem - Make you feel more confident and optimistic

Reduce weight - Higher levels of endorphins can help regulate the appetite

Improve sleep - Physical activity improves sleep quality and increases sleep duration

Relieve pain - endorphins are chemicals in the brain which are the body's natural painkillers and mood elevators

The list goes on, I’m sure you get the picture, exercise isn’t just about losing weight!
